My Common Sense Privacy Policy:
Bottom line, I hate spam at least as much as you do, maybe more. So this is my promise to anyone who subscribes to my newsletter: I will not sell, rent, lease, or give away my mailing list to any other company or individual. If by some strange twist of fate, some rich man offers me millions to sell my site and contact list (yeah, right), I will send out a final email to my list, allowing them to opt in to receive email from the new owner.

Other than that, I can foresee no ethical, legal, or legitimate reason to give your email address to anyone. So I won't do it. Period.

Every newsletter will also come with an unsubscribe link prominently placed, which will allow you to unsubscribe with a click of the mouse, and will also allow you to adjust your preferences such as the frequency of emails.
